Freshmen boys fall to Beatrice

Monday night, the Fairbury freshmen boys lost to Beatrice freshmen 25-58. Dylan Starr ’21 had 11 points for the Jeffs. Austin Novotny ’21 had 6, Josh Robertson ’21 with 5, and Konnor Hasselbring ’21 with 3 points. The game was a hard fought battle, the Jeffs only had 6 boys suited up while Beatrice had more than 10. The Beatrice boys were always fresh because of how easily and often they were subbed in and out.

“After suffering a couple losses during school on Monday, we ended up playing with 6 players that night,” Robertson said. “Even though we didn’t win, we all played well and we had fun playing which is all that matters.”
