Saturday, December 2 Fillmore Central packed their bags and headed to Fairbury to face The Jeffs.
Heading into halftime Fillmore Central was leading Fairbury 28-21. The boys couldn’t gain the leverage needed to catch up, and The Panthers overpowered the Jeffs ending the game 53-33.
Zach Holes ’18 was the leading shooter for The Jeffs earning 8 points. Followed by Isaac Robertson ’19 putting up 7 points for the team.

“I think we did a lot of good things and made some improvements from Friday, but I don’t think we played with the intensity that we did Friday [against Lincoln Christian]…” Robertson said.
The Jeffs travel to Superior tomorrow December 5 to challenge The 0-1 Wildcats.
“Tuesday’s game at Superior will give us the chance to continue improving and working on things while allowing to raise our intensity level from saturday.” Robertson said.
