Tuesday night, September 12th, Fairbury softball played Seward at home. The night started off with JV, keeping the score tied at zero until the fourth inning when Fairbury scored 2 runs. In the fifth, Seward scored two to tie the game but Jeffs scored four in the bottom of the sixth to take the win 6-4 over Seward.

Next up was varsity, starting the game 0 Fairbury, 2 Seward at the end of the first inning. Jeffs continued to play hard throughout the game, scoring 1 in the fourth inning, making the score 1-5. Seward continued to play a tough game and scored 2 more points in the fifth, giving the final score of Fairbury 1, Seward 7.
